In this blog I aim to show you how using social dynamics and knowledge of how approach and generate attraction can work in quickly establishing yourself in a new environment.
I shall be writing about various techniques and strategies I have used and their effect good or bad.
So I found out the other day that I got the job I interviewed for in Cape Town.
Its a cool job, Web Developer at a small web development firm in the center of Town.
I currently live in P.E. lived here for ten years. Ill be leaving all my friends behind and will have to establish a new group of friends in Cape town.
I suspect this is going to be the first major task.
After ten years in this city (P.E) i have established an “Entourage” of good friends and aquaitences.
I wont be a complete stranger in Cape Town. I do have a couple of olf school buddies there that are willing to help me get familiarized with Cape Town as a city.
So whats the over all plan?
- Start building up a peer group.
- Find a competent wingman.
- Know the territory. Its important to know where to go to meet people.
- Establish an “base of operations / headquarters” a venue out that you are familiar with that you can both start off and end off the night of at.
Now this current list is just a general overview and is subject to change, right now its just a best guess.
