So happy valentines day folks!
Yes valentines day another one of those days designed to guilt you into buying a whole bunch of shit. Over time this day has been made more commercial and less its true meaning. Much like Christmas.
Valentines should not just be something you do once a year. This shit should be happening MUCH more often.
Another swak thing about valentines is it re-enforces the belief that the way to win a womans heart or the way to value a mans commitment to her is through the gifts you buy for her.
WRONG!
But dont get me twisted, if you have a woman in your life that is the BOMB, loves you and is in it for the long haul then by all means spoil her rotten if you want. That sort of shit is perfect for the long term type relationships.
But for us single guys with options, the grand gestures of love and devotion on a day like this to a girl you hardly know is a…BAD IDEA, DON’T DO IT!
Back home my friends have organized and anti-valentines day …any excuse for a party with those guys.
