Solid Game

I am a big fan of girls..Duh.  I’m an even bigger fan of girls with girl power. A girl with girl power to me translates to an independent girl with self confidence and self respect. An independent woman that knows what she wants out of life.
Believe it or not this is not a common trait sadly. Some women have a difficult time realising their self worth. Sometimes their self confidence is through the roof and there are sometimes when they go through a low self-esteem patch. This is life.

I tell you why I am a big fan of a girl with girl power.

• She has respect for herself and is therefore capable of respecting you and the people around her. One has a difficult time respecting others if they don’t have a measure of self respect.

• She is independent. She has a world of her own going on. She’s most likely not going to be needy and demanding in a negative way.  All you have to do is support and encourage. Her world will enhance yours and yours hers.

• She is sexy and she knows it. There’s noting hotter than a hot chick that knows she’s hot. Now I know sometimes girls don’t feel all that attractive but with girl power this happens less and for a shorter period of time.

• She’s not all that concerned about her age. Yeah that’s right, I said it. It frustrates me sometimes how women in their late twenties are so freaked out about turning 30. A girl with girl power doesn’t have her self- worth tied into her age. That’s one of the things I like about the company of 30+ women, most are over that shit. You got to realise that the only men that really give a shit about how young you are are the ones that have issues with their own age and feel they need to be with a younger woman to validate themselves ( the “I still got it” guys). That being said, I’m not ignorant to the fact that society is ageist in general and this makes age a legitimate concern. BUT a girl with girl power doesn’t play victim.

• She doesn’t take herself all that seriously. This is someone who is able to laugh at herself. She’s able to take a joke or be teased. Generally just great fun to be around. Good sense of humour is always a good sign of someone who has the ability to see the lighter side of life, themselves and others.

So dude, don’t be scared of girl power, it works out for you in the long run. No matter how hot she is you don’t wanna end up with a walking ball of jealousy, neediness and insecurity in a mini-skirt. I know the girl with the low self esteem appeals to your “superman” or  the “I can rescue that damsel in distress” gene. The truth is there is nothing you can do. They call it SELF-esteem not MAN-esteem; it’s out of your control.
