Build a connection by listening

Posted by Blade On February - 15 - 2008

Every one of us has a friend that only ever wants to talk about themselves, their job, their relationships their achievements , their problems.

In fact every question they ask is set up just so they can answer the same question. But since they are your friend you kinda let that shit slide rite.

This pisses me off sometimes man, this means you get stuck in a conversation where the communication is one way. Hearing shit you’ve probably heard before.

My Funny Valentine

Posted by Blade On February - 13 - 2008

Bitch, I dont know you!!!So happy valentines day folks!

Yes valentines day another one of those days designed to guilt you into buying a whole bunch of shit. Over time this day has been made more commercial and less its true meaning. Much like Christmas.

Valentines should not just be something you do once a year. This shit should be happening MUCH more often.

Another swak thing about valentines is it re-enforces the belief that the way to win a womans heart or the way to value a mans commitment to her is through the gifts you buy for her.

WRONG!

Stop Manipulating Women!

Posted by Blade On February - 13 - 2008

We ended up at a pretty vibey club last Friday night. I was out with a lovely girl, energetic and friendly ( thats code for ‘she was hot’ ).

She had ran out of smokes the earlier that evening. So before we go into the club I asked if she wanted to stop by the cafe and get a pack. She told me ” no need, I’ll just get a few from the guys at the club”.

I was the only guy she knew at the club. Read the rest of this entry »

Has Sinn quit Mystery Method ?

Posted by Blade On February - 13 - 2008

I subscribe to a couple of international PUA blogs, and one of the best ones I’ve come across is http://sinnsofattraction.blogspot.com/ .

Today my blog reader alerts me of an update and it said that Sinn was quiting Mystery Method. After checking again the post was gone. Obviously deleted.

Luckily my blog reader saved the original posted below. Sinn is one of the more popular names in PUA.

Blueprint Decoded

Its a DVD compilation of one of his super seminars on social dynamics.

RSD is quite well know for getting into extreme detail on social interactions. I doubt this DVD will be any different.

The First Month

Posted by Blade On February - 11 - 2008

Its been exactly a month now since I first set foot in Cape Town.
So far its been quite exiting, good. Just the kinda change I needed.

As I said before, my plan was to settle down as quickly as possible. Establish a routine and explore the territory.

The Art Approaching Her

Posted by Blade On February - 8 - 2008

Not a CrimeO.k guys, its Friday, and most of you are planning to head out tonight as you normally do on a weekend. Its almost valentines, this doesn’t help.

Here is a brief break down of how to actually approach her. If you haven’t read any of the other articles I’ve written on the subject I strongly recommend you read this one:

Things you need to know before you approach her at a club

This is a simple easy way to engage any girl or guy, yes you ladies can use this strategy too.

I’m not going to get into the theory of why this is down the way it is just yet. Lets just get into the meat and potatoes.

Lets assume the girl you are interested in is in a group. Women of beauty rarely go out alone ( even if she is, the same strategy still applies ).

A snipe at Blade: Readers respond

Posted by Blade On February - 6 - 2008

It seems that blogging about sarging is not without its critics.

I found 2 articles about 2 of my posts on the net.

check them out here:

http://n-tro-p.blogspot.com/2008/02/blog-post.html

 http://n-tro-p.blogspot.com/2008/02/drew-patrick-is-spastic-no-its-not-song.html

I love his take on it, he got the jean-pant reference.

Its rather difficult for “outsiders” to understand what goes on. Most see the word Pick-Up and immediately picture images of sleaze. In a way I can totally understand this. I personally don’t like using the word, but it is what it is.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that, some guys find it stupid that another guy would take the time to learn to actively get good with women. Just be careful of that, not everyone gets it.

I’m glad your reading Drew, would love to hear your opinions.
Don’t hesitate to ask for clarification neither :)

Opener: The Google Opener

Posted by Blade On February - 6 - 2008

GoogleHere is another one of my openers, a piece I use all the time. As always its interesting unexpected and engaging.
This opener came up quite randomly in conversations with my wings one night. I think we were talking about stalkers and obsessive guys. We talked about it and I ended up asking a few people around us who all had different opinions on the subject, which is perfect for an opener.
…assuming you will infuse the usual opening parameters somewhere (false time constraints etc we shall get into this later.)

Now there are many variations of this. Here is one of them.
