Solid Game

Yo. I’m still standing, still kicking it, still not lovin’ police. Its been months and months since I last wrote a post. I’ve been concentrating on my comedy writing for the most part. Over the past months I’ve been more inspired to write jokes rather than blog posts. This doesn’t mean that I have lost interest in SolidGame. I’m busy evolving and things are changing. I’m still trying to find a way to marry the two worlds. I think this kind of problems comes with being a man of many interests.

I’m thinking of reviving an old idea I had of the podcast. It’s much easier to talk into a mic for a few minutes than it is to write a post. Soon as I get the equipment I need Ill get that going.

If you have any suggestions on what you would like to see more of, let me know.

Last night was time for my first bi-annual visit to a strip club…obviously. Me and some of my friends from my stand-up comedy circuit decided to give Mavericks a visit.  It was rather cool…the club was relatively empty and the girls were bored.
One of my friends had these hipster spectacles. The ones that you wear not because you have an eye problem, you just wear them for the fuck of it…cause it looks good. He had a Clark Kent thing going. Any way cut to the incident. Read the rest of this entry »

Here is a quick thought.

How you look doesn’t have anything to do with how good you can make her feel.
Nothing about how old you are, how tall you are, how much you weigh, how much money you make or whether on not you are her type has anything to do with how you can make her feel once you are in bed with her.

A key to remember is that after a woman has experienced a mind blowing intimate experience with you, the experience alone will render all of the other stuff irrelevant. Yes this is a generalization…but in my experience, its pretty accurate.

Forgive me father for I have sinned. It has been several months since my last blog post. What can I say man, it’s been a heavy past couple of months. There’s been lots going in general and in my life. I know some of you were wondering what happened to me. Some of you were asking me if I had gotten a girlfriend and run off and abandoned the SolidGame. Well I’m here to say no such thing has happened… yet hahaha.
The thing is about my blog is that I prefer not to talk about every single thing that happens on a daily or weekly basis. You can find that on other blogs. I’d much prefer to share with you things that might either entertain you, school you or both.

Finally 2010 has rolled around. It has been a fascinating year. A year of many ups and downs…mostly ups I got to say. A smooth winter and an absolutely fantastic 2008/2009 summer season. If you don’t know what happened, I chronicled all the highlights in various posts from that time. Go back and take a read. I’m going into 2010 with a couple of lessons and a shift in mission.

What is your opinion on dating someone you work with and why?

I posed a question to some friends of mine via Titter and Facebook. We spend a large chunk of our lives working. Some people work 12 hour days and most weekends. It is almost inevitable that people would hook up with those they see every day, their colleagues. It’s not a surprise to anyone that the majority of the answers I received were a resounding NO DON’T DO IT!

VENT ALERT! Oh, you don’t want to “play that game”? Think the perfect guy should instantly see all you have to offer, and you shouldn’t have to work for it? . I’ve met a few guys who said they don’t want to play that game either. Women should flock to them because they are nice, and sweet. No points for guessing how that’s working out. It’s not about “nice”, it’s about how the world is!

If what you are doing is yielding you the results that you want in your dating life..then more power to you. If not, perhaps you need to change the way you think.

Today I discovered something interesting on twitter. There is a new TV show about to hit South African televisions @ 21h30 on Friday, November 3. The show is called Man. The show is about the love lives of 4 Cape Townian guys Henri Slier, Kaizer Tsosane, Trevor Gow and Maurice Levin.
