AMOG: Alpha-Male-Other-Guy. An AMOG is a guy in your set or who comes to your set and is alpha like you are (or should be). He may try to tool you around, make fun of you, or shut you out of the set. The act of AMOGing is alpha-battling that guy or group of guys, and holding your own, hopefully blowing him out of the set. He can also fit into the description of a cock block
Cock Block: Male or Female that tries to get between you and the girl during a cold approach.
Cold Approach: Approaching a woman you have no real business talking to, or any networked connection. This includes women in bars that don’t know friends of yours, girls on the street, etc.
Day Game: Cold approaching during the day, such as the mall, street., etc.
Day 2: “Date” with a woman. This comes from the idea that your first meeting her from an approach is Day 1, and when you meet her for coffee/lunch/beach walk, that is Day 2. The dates after that are often called Day 2 as well, and an date from an internet sarge is still often called Day 2 even though it’s your first meeting.
Direct Opener: Going up to a woman and telling her exactly how you feel and what you want. An example would be “Hey, you guys seemed like you had a good energy; I thought I’d say hi.” An extreme version would be “I like you and want to get to know you.”
Flaking: A woman either canceling plans, not returning your calls, or simply not being available to see you in person after you have gotten her number.
Hired Gun: Woman who’s on the job, often in part for her attractiveness. Most obvious examples include strippers and cocktail waitresses, but others such as diner waitresses and clothing store sales people apply as well. If she’s paid to be nice to you and/or flirt with you, she’s a hired gun.
IOI: Indicator of Interest. Specific behavior of girl that displays interest in you. Examples include keeping the conversation going, touching you, asking your name, buying you a drink, etc.
Kino: Any kind of touching, initiated by her or you. Kino escalation is when you intensify the level of touching to get more intimate.
Lone Wolf: A girl by herself.
Mixed Set: A set that has both men and women in it.
NEG: a backhanded compliment designed to show disinterest.
Opener: First thing you say to a woman that you approach.
Opinion Opener: Starting out the interaction by asking a woman’s opinion on something, such as “Hey, I need a quick female opinion on something. Do girls think the rock star, David Bowie, is hot?”
Peacocking: Dressing flashy in a way that will make you the center of attention when you walk into a room. This includes wearing a large furry hat, wearing a light-up sign on your chest or belt, or having anything on you that makes you stand out. There are varying levels of Peacocking, and they elicit both positive and negative responses from people in the bars. Not recommended for day game.
PUA: Pick-Up Artist
Qualification Phase: Phase of attraction/seduction, usually in indirect game, where you show your own interest in a girl legitimately, as in showing you appreciate something about her besides her looks. Generally you put a hoop for the girl to jump through to prove herself, then reward her.
Qualifying: The act of trying to prove to someone how worthy you are. If a girl says “I only like strong guys,” and you say “I can bench 350,” you are qualifying yourself. If during qualification phase you say “Anyone I hang out with is going to have to be adventurous, are you adventurous?” and she jumps through the hoop and says yes, she has qualified herself to you.

Sarging: The act of cold approaching and attracting women. The cumulative interaction between you and a specific female you have cold approached is often called a “sarge”
Set: A girl or group of people you approach. A 2-set is two people, a 3-set is three people, etc. They may be all female or partly female.
Two-Set: See “Set”
Warm Approach: Approaching a woman you have some networked connection with, though you haven’t talked with her directly. Examples include approaching a girl from Church, your English class, a girl at a friend’s birthday party, etc.
